Soul Reapers
Soul Reapers are residents of the Serieitei, located in the Soul Society. Soul Reapers dress in black robes called Shihakusho, and their primary duty is to cleanse the souls of the dead through one of two means. The first is to slay a Hollow with their Zanpakuto, cleansing the sins that soul committed as a Hollow, and sending them to hell or the Soul Society depending on their actions in life. The second is Konso, performed by placing the pommel of their Zanpakuto on a non-Hollowfied spirit, sending them to Soul Society.
Soul Reaper Powers
Zanpakuto | Soul Reapers are all equipped with Zanpakuto. A Zanpakuto is typically a katana-style sword, with small visual variations between individuals. The Zanpakuto is the means by which Soul Reapers slay Hollows and cleanse souls. Zanpakuto can transform to Shikai, and eventually Bankai with enough training, giving them unique, customizable powers.
Kido | Kido are spells that Soul Reapers can perform, and are classified into 3 types. Hado are offensive, damaging Kido. Bakudo can be use to restrict movement and erect barriers. Kaido can be used to heal. Kido are typically titled by their type and number, followed by a name. For example - Hado 4: Byakurai. Kido numbers correspond to their level: 1-19 are level 1, 20-39 are level 2, 40-59 are level 3, 60-79 are level 4, and 80-99 are level 5. All Soul Reapers start with 2 Kido of up to level 1.
Shunko | Shunko is a form of hand-to-hand combat utilizing Kido and Hakuda (hand-to-hand) in combination, gaining a huge power boost. It creates protrusions of Reiatsu behind the user's shoulders, propelling their body and their strikes for increased speed and power. One can choose to specialize in this by forgoing their ability to ever learn Bankai or Ascended Zanpakuto. (This may stray slightly from canon, but it is for balance purposes.)
Shunpo | This is a high-speed movement technique available to Soul Reapers. All Soul Reapers start with Basic Shunpo, and the forms of Shunpo are detailed in the spoiler below.

Description: The Soul Reaper moves extremely quickly from point A to point B, with a range of up to 50 meters. It is important to note that the Soul Reaper does not teleport, and instead moves between this space. This means if the terrain cannot be traversed, this doesn't help. They also cannot move through walls or attacks, and at this level, Shunpo requires so much concentration that they cannot attack in the same post AFTER Basic Shunpo has already been used. Once used, this skill goes on cooldown for 2 posts
Name: Expert Shunpo
Appearance: A Soul Reaper appears to disappear and reappear in a different location, with the sound of a small swish following their trail.
Description: The Soul Reaper moves extremely quickly from point A to point B, with a range of up to 100 meters. It is important to note that the Soul Reaper does not teleport, and instead moves between this space. This means if the terrain cannot be traversed, this doesn't help. They also cannot move through walls or attacks. The cooldown for this skill is reduced to 1 post, and the stipulation of not being able to attack after this skill is used is lifted. If Expert and Basic Shunpo raced, Expert is faster but not enough to matter outside of a race.

Vizards
Vizards are a unique type of Soul Reaper that have somehow gained Hollow Powers. Examples of how this can be achieved are: taking a forbidden drug with the essence of Hollow in it, being attacked by a Hollow who forcibly injects you with their spiritual pressure, or whatever you come up with and is approved by staff. Vizards have access to a transformation called "Hollowfication", and the template for which is found in this topic.

- Shikai | Shikai is a tier 1 transformation and is the first release of a Zanpakuto. It allows for unique powers and/or increases in stats of the Zanpakuto. Use the Shikai template below. Cannot be chosen with your first Tier Point
- Bankai | Bankai is a tier 2 transformation and is the final release of a Zanpakuto. It expands upon what a Zanpakuto does in its Shikai, but is more powerful. Requires Shikai.
- Ascended Zanpakuto | Ascended Zanpakuto allows a person to slightly redesign their Shikai and Bankai, as Shikai becomes a tier 2 transformation and Bankai becomes a tier 3 transformation. This may happen because a person initially didn't fully understand how to use their Zanpakuto, didn't have access to it, or it truly did evolve over time. This is completely up to the player.
- Kido Expert | Allows for the use of up to level 3 Kido, as well as 1 more kido slot per tier (1 at tier 5, 2 at tier 4, etc). Increases Reiatsu by 2.
- Kido Master | Allows for the use of up to level 5 Kido, as well as 1 more kido slot per tier, stacking with Kido Expert (1 at tier 5, 2 at tier 4, etc). Increases Reiatsu by 2. Requires Kido Expert.
- Shunpo Expert | Replaces Basic Shunpo with Expert Shunpo and allows for 1 custom Shunpo technique. Increases Speed by 2.
- Shunpo Master | Replaces Expert Shunpo with Master Shunpo, and allows for 1 more custom Shunpo technique. Increases speed by 2 more. Requires Shunpo expert.
- Hollowfication | Soul Reaper becomes a Vizard, which is a variant of a Soul Reaper. This locks access to Ascended Zanpakuto, and is detailed below under "Vizards." Cannot be taken as the first tier point.
- Shunko | Soul Reaper becomes capable of performing Shunko, a Tier 1 transformation, and Shunko techniques that pertain to their element. Shunko tends to be based on an element like wind, lightning, or fire, as elemental kido of that element is funneled into the user's body. This locks access to Bankai and Ascended Zanpakuto, as well as Hollowfication. This requires Kido Expert.
